I'll give this one to Miles.

Sofa for me, that sounds more like an actual tune to me rather than some (almost) impromptu jam.

Ah! Two great albums, but on these tunes I'm going to give it to Miles.

Crazy about just about everything by Miles ca. 59-75 but not so much for On the Corner. Black Satin sounded pretty great out of the album context though. Sofa no. 1 is a sweet little ditty. A tie for now. Isn't that exiting

Miles...
On the Corner is such a mysterious album. It still sounds alien, 40+ years later...

Black Satin. Now that I've heard it, I know what I want for Christmas. Well, that and Bowie's "Heroes".
He looks at this world and wants it all... so he strikes, like Thunderball!

Frank Zappa, Sofa No. 1.

When he rides, my fears subside.
For darkness turns once more to light.
Through the skies, his white horse flies.
To find a land beyond the night.
