I will take any Pink Floyd over any Can any day.
The world of sound is certainly capable of infinite variety and, were our sense developed, of infinite extensions. -- George Santayana, "The Sense of Beauty"

Had to go for both as the Can album is just fantastic.

Clouds might be a lesser work in terms of significance a  in relation to their next release but it is still such a pure PF band album plenty of vox from the three who contributed vox and plenty of variety.

Anyway Burning Bridges so reflects my preferred pace of being... ;)

Dang it... Future Days is a more consistent album, but Clouds has a bit more unpredictable moments like "The Gold It's In The..." and "Free Four".
He looks at this world and wants it all... so he strikes, like Thunderball!

Hi,

FD ... the PF album looks like a left over and there is nothing really major and important there, that you "remember" the album by and for.

Not to mention that the film was not that good, and wasted various actors from teh Royal Shakespeare Company and from teh French equivalent as well. I have a feeling that the original film was way too stoned out and it had to be redone, or else it was vut up senselessly and lost its story and everything else. Pink Floyd allowing music for a film about the chase of feathers, is silly to say the least! Unless the polen from these feathers get you stoned ... there's got to be something in it! But the film is vacuous and boring and wastes its talent ... probably because there was no script is my guess! Likely just an idea that went south really quick because it was ... just an idea!
Music is not just for listening ... it is for LIVING ... you got to feel it to know what's it about! Not being told!
