It's a grand climax, the closing epic. It has a beautiful finality to it. I really think GG did awesome work on this song. It's very rewarding whenever I finish this album.

its probably the song where they putt most of the oumph and grandious songwriting and insrrumentation to best effect into creating somethign breathtaking, just think of how this would have sounded like in Yorkminster (Canterburry cathedral)

Three Friends - the ULTIMATE GG album ! Can't praise it enough. Even if JP Weathers was their 'perfect' drummer, I wish Mortimore stayed on for more than just this album.

Schooldays is the song I like most from the album. Its not an album I can warm to for some reason. Its pretty and lush but a bit lacking in some 'balls'. I suppose its the usual early v later GG argument. I like Freehand and The Power And The Glory a lot but only some tracks from the first 3 albums.

For me it's the constantly changing time signatures and glorious organ/tron layer with a typically odd Gary Green melody weaving in and out of a Ray Shulman bass counterpoint...all happening at once!
Definitely my fave GG album though my fave track on the album is Mr Class and Quality...this track though is the perfect end.
