From the symphonic conference (really?) we have one of the most influential artists of the 70's also responsible for one of the 70's most beloved and seminal prog albums

From Sweden

Bo Hansson (ripCry)

From the experimental post metal (post metal? really WTF is that?) we have a group.. who..  bah. I know nothing of them.  They are said to be important so I included them.

From the US

Maudlin of the Well

Vegas odds makers have this as a tossup thinking this contest might be raged along generational lines.

Show some love for maudlin, though I have gained a massive amount of respect for Bo. In the end, Leaving Your Body Map and Bath are just too good. Plus they swapped covers.

Okay this one is hard. I only have one Maudlin album though so Bo by default. A close one though.

This poll is just hilarious.

Nice little praise and commentary on the Symph album then a semi-bash with no information for Maudlin.
Must be an amazing symph album then, to be topping a band of such a high caliber like Maudlin, right? Listen for 4 minutes and i hear annoying keyboards sounds, like always, and sounds like it could be used for an 80's video game soundtrack.

Just funny how different people view/hear things.
Crushed like a rose in the riverflow.

That Bo Hanssen track wasn't half bad, but motW is one of my favorites.

Hansson's genre sounds more like my genres than Bo's, but... don't really dig Bo, and Maudlin Of The Well shines here!

Bo.

That's a nice track by motW, but I saw them live and they were not able to replicate their nuanced moments. Save for five whole minutes, it was a continuous wall of sound with terrible singing and too many hats in the ring. Sorry.

Really, that would have been over 10 years ago, nice.
