Forgive me for not being tech-savvy (my buzz-words at the moment...) so I can't place any samples on here, but has anyone out there considered Magic Mushroom Band as a Psych/Space entry ??
I have a few LP's of theirs, and they hold a really 'underground' spirit, similar to that of HAWKWIND and Ozric Tentacles. Even David Jackson guested on one of their albums called Spaced Out. They do incorporate elements of trance, pop, electronica, even ethnic touches, and psychedelia. Any thoughts ??

I'm pretty sure I saw their old drummer the other day in a local spermarket. They live just down the road from me..

My band supported them once in a club in Windsor (UK) back in the early 90's. They were great fun and very good live.
Ultimately bored by endless ecstasy!

They were suggested back in 2008: http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=52384 - but it didn't seem to generate much of a response...One quite enthusiastic voice of support, and then that appeared to be the end of the matter. Ermm

It's all on myspace for anyone interested in checking them out further: https://myspace.com/magicmushroombands/music/albums.

And there are a couple of albums on YouTube too:

Plus a compilation:

I like the band's psychedelic rock and still have some vinyl. Came to them through the free festival scene Hawkwind / Ozrics / Here & Now etc. Astralasia were an interesting side project who played ambient dub then trance / dance stuff.

Spaced Out is quite excellent, as is R.U. Spaced Out 2. Contains the amazing Hubbly Bubbly track.
Would love to see them enjoying some exposure here at PA......

I'm stunned they aren't here - I think I just assumed that they were so never bothered checking.
What?

^ Does that mean they're in ????
I'm just going on what they have wrangled in to their offerings which have a strong tie to HAWKWIND, Ozrics, and the 'Rave' scene. I love the few LP's I have, am willing to ramble off a review of them, I just think they deserve more fame than they currently have.......And what better place than PA ??
Thanks to all members who donated their time to check the suggestion out
.......and thanks for putting up with such a tech-simpleton as myself ....

Eyes Of The Angel shares a lot of similarities with Hawkwind's Xenon Codex album, similar production (that late-80's swamp) and mix of styles/approaches.
