I've never really warmed up to ELP outside of Tarkus. I respect the hell out of them, but most of the music sounds....erm...'forced' to me *hides in small corner*

I have only one problem with ELP: most of their music is too intense for me. Oftentimes, I can't seem to be able to process sonic information fast enough to match the ELP's transmission bitrate and the bandwidth . Stravinsky's music does the same thing to me - too intense, with too high resolution = overload.
(I keep an emergency supply of three-chord, 4/4 music to flush my brain out after running for more than 10 minutes on undiluted Stravinsky)
As for The Strawbs, could we instead compare them to another band in the same category?

I wish my friend.. I wish but even if Camel survives this.. they won't survive the Floyd. WHile in the same bracket, they are on opposite sides and will be decided underdogs both in their 2nd round matchups.
