Hi, me and my friends are want to try a new genre for jamming.
Can you guys recommend me a Prog rock/ Post rock/ ambient/ psychedelic rock songs with that has a chord progression that repeats throughout the whole song? Or if not at least a song that has an easy enough chord progression to start with for jamming.

Preferably a song that is guitar oriented and utilizes many different effects that can be played live. :)
Thanks!

How about some Electric Orange?

Maggot Brain by Funkadelic is great jam material. Not prog per se but loved by prog people.

If you're looking for more moody and dramatic, "Lavender" by Marillion and "Svefn-g-englar" by Sigur Rós both have the same progression. Seriously, cover that as a mashup and jam to it. E D c# A
