Bo Hansson? Ummm...wasn't he in the original "Walking Tall" movie? Just kidding. As much as I dislike voting for Rush in any poll, I'll have to choose them here.

I don't think Symph is the right place for Bo Hansson. My vote goes to him.

Jo Manson.

First time hearing Bo Hansson, looks like another band to explore. Thumbs Up
Even though I like some of Rush's stuff, was never a huge fan...I am probably one of the few who liked their very first album without Neal.  Anyway, for beating out Le Orme, I choose Bo.

Interesting match-up, and an unfortunate one.  Still, Bo Hansson is holding his own.  Yet, I vote Rush.

Rush.

When he rides, my fears subside.
For darkness turns once more to light.
Through the skies, his white horse flies.
To find a land beyond the night.

Clap cool.  In a rare moment of dead seriousness. It was part of the reason I selected him.  Great albums, a lot of a historical import/influence but definitely not the best of known.  However he has handled himself well judging by the 1st round win, and showing well against Rush. Those who really know Bo.. love Bo.  A lot of quality music to found in exploring him.

Clap  that makes me happy man. Some good of all the fun and silliness.  Hope you do and do enjoy his music.  The Lord of the Rings is a stone-cold atmospheric classic, but I think I have to come to enjoy the Magician's Hat album even more.

You will not regret it! Bo's music, among other things, does not sound as dated as the output of many much better-known bands or artists.

It's that atmosphere those albums have... I'm not talented enough with words as you are to attempt to describe it.. but damned if it isn't there. Clap

I listened 'Lord of the Rings' yesterday...it was the atmosphere that has stayed in my head...expecting to enjoy it more on subsequent listens.
Also noticed that Mike Oldfield has drawn lots of influence off Bo Hansson.
Thanks for the poll Micky
