Topic: 2nd Rd Rome Bracket: King Crimson v. Uriah Heep Posted: December 14 2014 at 08:47
From the Eclectic Conference we have a band who destroyed one of the greats themselves, Can, in the first round. Laughing mockingly at any kind of notion of being upset in the first round.
From England
KING CRIMSON!!!
From the Heavy Prog Conference we have the winner of a tight match with The Mars Volta
From England
URIAH HEEP!!!!
Vegas has King Crimson as a 35 vote favorite. Can Uriah Heep pull.. bah.. can THEY cover as well? We shall see!!

I wasn't aware that Uriah Heep appeared on King Crimson's Discipline album. I don't hear David Byron singing anywhere. Anyway, since Heep played on a King Crimson album and not vice versa, I'll have to go with Fripp.

giving my vote and love to Uriah Heep.
I get King Crimson is great. However Uriah Heep's Salisbury hit me harder and loved it more than anything K.C. did. Lady in Black for example is an amazing piece and love the lyrics. I simple respect K.C. more than I enjoy them.

As for Pink Floyd vs Return to Forever, let's keep the bigs out of this kid of contexts in the future. This will end to be a Genesis vs Yes or Genesis vd Pink Floyd as usual
