“Shattered Light” band was formed by guitar, bass player and composer Yuri ‘Alexandrovich’ Konstantinov at the 2nd of January, 2013. This date is labeled as band’s Birthday because that day a second band member joined the project – guitarist Leandro Chernicharo from Brazil. The headquarter of the project was located in Perm, Russia. In April, 2013 a talented heavy metal singer Egor Arkhipov has joined the band too. He is well known not only as a singer (including all recent Yuri’s live and studio projects) but also as a classical music composer and CEO of Scienart Media). Then the trio started their search for keyboard players. As a result – three amazing musicians were found. Ivan Rozmainsky, the leader of post-rock band “Roz-Vitalis”, has brought an authentic atmosphere with his space pads and non-trivial melodies. David Clark from the United States not only invented his great multi-track keyboards for the first album of “Shattered Light” but also has a role of expert in discussions about English lyrics (all lyrics were written by Yuri, who has rich experience in Russian poetry, but lyrics for “Shattered Light” became his first English poetic challenge). And, sure, young and talented Anna Alexeyeva, from the Chair of Organ and Harpsichord (Conservatory named after N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov). Her piano track made the album “5541” warmer, more sincere and affectionate. To make members work more fruitful the headquarter of “Shattered Light” has been moved to Saint Petersburg. In September, 2014 the band started non-commercial collaboration with Rusfond (one of the biggest Russian charity organization). The result of this collaboration is album named “5541”. The last track of “5541” is call for charity, which could help ill children to overcome their trouble. released 20 December 2014 Anna Alexeyeva - keyboards, composer (1); David Clark - keyboards, co-producer (2-5, 7); Egor Arkhipov (ex-"Exergia", ex-"Tchas Iks") - vocals (2-5), virtual instruments (5,6), mixing engineer, co-producer; Ivan Rozmainsky ("Roz Vitalis") - synths, including atmospheric pads (1-7), composer (7), co-producer; Leandro Chernicharo - guitars (1-6); Yuri 'Alexandrovich' Konstantinov (ex-"Tchas Iks") - guitars, bass, recording engineer, backing vocals (2,4,5), composer (2-6), producer, lyrics, virtual instruments, arrangement, mastering; Other participants: Milana Volkova ("Alavastr") - album art. Dmitriy Hoff ("Hoff Guitars") - promo, PR, development. Guest musicians: Ilya Rysin - trumpet (2,5,6,7); Anton Davydiants - bass recording; Vladimir Ivanov - recording engineer (1); Drumsite Team - percussion and drums recording.
