Amy Lee is a masterful composer, pianist, and singer.  Despite the obvious Goth elements of Evanescence's music, would you agree there are prog (or at least proto-prog - maybe prog-metal) elements extant in their discography of three full albums?  I have definite opinions, but I am interested in yours...

iw would not say they have nice tunes, but they are as far awya form prog as it can get, symphonic metal maybe, but thats all, good musicianship does not a prog band make, if that were so then Toto and Dave Mathew Band would be here already
