Soaring Dreams Promotions - Anniversary Review

Liberty’s Exiles has a definite influence from the 70s and well beyond, reaching heights many dare to challenge. Some songs are written to tell a story that express moments within one’s life whether it’s happy or sad. This album has stories within stories of life and pain that has left a deep impact upon one’s heart, soul and mind. The lyrics were written to make you think about the pain that can be caused by our discussions, and the songwriter beautifully painted you a picture of the vision of pain and hurt. The music has a strong intent on allowing you to feel the meaning of the words and to help you understand the deep thought process for you can hear the cries of the guitar, the heartbeat of the drums and the strong keys of sadness as the vocalist utters his melodies.

The album ‘Anniversary’ is done to celebrate the first anniversary of the band existence and opens with “Commotion,” a song about going through emotion and feeling overwhelmed by your discussions and ends with “Laughing Tear,” a great song about heartache and the pain ones leaves behind with goodbyes. All songs in between tell a story of pain, love, loss and how one deals with all of them. Lyrics are written around losing themselves as others will learn to live with the pain but all is part of life.

“Forever Bleeding Part 2 and 4” are great stories continued from the second album. “Forever Bleeding” is a rock epic about Hell being released upon the Earth and engulfing mankind but are we not the creatures of the Hell in which we release upon each other and ourselves. In “Forever Bleeding Part 2: In the Binding,” you are caught up into the chains that bind you to your discussions trapped between this world and the darkness of Hell, which is created by the binding one places upon oneself that will not allow freedom, the torment soul. In “Forever Bleeding Part 4: Troubled Chaos,” the destruction of mankind that is caused by being controlled for so long that fighting with the “Father of Pain” surrounds the anarchy created by the troubled souls release for their Hell must be addressed. “Forever Bleeding” is a epic of good and evil that we all must face on a daily bases but it’s the discussion we make that can and will impact others; therefore, we must make our discussion wisely for you may never be able to go back.

“A Page In My Diary” is an interesting set of work about just being a small note written in someone’s diary. Your first reaction to this song is that it’s way too long but as you listen to the music you get lost within the words and sound of the song. The first piece is a beautiful acoustic guitar with other elements adds to get the pieces a hypnotic feel, and the second piece was a lovely instrumental change up that completed the story beautiful. “Too Close to the Sun” and “Alone Without You” are two more amazing songs from this album. “Alone Without You” is well-written for you can hear the pain written within the words, and the vocalize delivers to emotion and pain feel. “Too Close to the Sun” another well-written tune that tells the story of getting too close and getting burned by the pain.
