There are better tracks on Chicago VII, .... Mysterious Traveller is very good (Cucumber Slumber is my fave track) but even though I have many WR albums, I prefer Chicago more.

With no disrespect to zravkapt, I sometimes wonder how these threads comparing two different songs are picked. I'm not clear why these two songs were placed together. The second point I want to make is about artists and listeners complaining when record companies intervene. Sometimes it's necessary, and I think a lot of Chicago's music at this point demonstrates that. Since their music became more listenable, I assume it was the influence of forces outside of the band. "Mysterious Traveller", on the other hand, is one of WR's best songs. The choice is obvious to me.

Who gives a sh*t? It's just a stupid poll. It takes me appr. 10 seconds to come up with these polls...I spend more time deciding who I'm voting for than picking the options.

Looks like Cetera and his buddies are no match for Zawinul and Co. Had it been Devil's Sweet vs. Mysterious Traveller the outcome may be different.....

I'm a fan of both bands and the first 3 Chicago albums are excellent but in this case Mysterious Traveler is simply a better track......imo.
