Cocteau Twins vs. Galaxie 500

Two dream pop bands. One the seminal precursor to shoegaze, and one the seminal precursor to slowcore.


As Harvard students, Galaxie 500 didn't initial have any drum kit to play on, so drummer Damon Krukowski used Conan O'Brien's. LOL

Galaxie 500 really were on fire. Helped give the world Codeine, Slint, and Duster.

Not too familiar with either, but I like what I know of Cocteaus and don't like what I know of Galaxie.
My other avatar is a Porsche
