That's a big win for Haas to get a driver like Grosjean right out of the gate.  Also, it's now not for sure that Jenson will be retiring from F1 after this year.  I won't believe a damn thing until it's official either way.

Maybe his hints were a kick up the arse for McLaren to get themselves sorted with a deal for next year.

Seems Renault are all but guaranteed to buy out the Lotus team, word is that they're going to step in to the court case with the HMRC at the high court and pay off the £2.7 million owed for June, July and August. It's unlikely they would spend that kind of money if they weren't going to buy the team.

"This is like a GP2 engine!"-Alonso.

The most exciting part of the entire Japan weekend!

And apparently Ron Dennis wasn't happy with his comments.  Well, get your crap together so you're not fighting for 12th-ish every race.  Those two world champions and the name McLaren deserve much better than that.  Embarrassing.

Thanks for the great Brabs post Sleeper! Brabs has a spiritual/humanitarian quality about him that I like, although I'm an agnostic. He's done a lot for different world charities without any fanfare, so he's an ace in my book.

Button signed on officially for 2016!  And it sounds like he'd like to be around for when the major changes to the car take place for 2017, as well.

Today is kind of a big day in racing, with the Bathurst 1000 taking place on the Mt. Panorama circuit, and then the fourth round of the Chase tonight in Charlotte in the NASCAR Cup series.  Good day.  I'd say that I was excited about the Russian GP in the morning, but it'll end up being another Hamilton parade.  Maybe I'll be wrong, though.

A pretty good race overall, a shame that Rosbergs throttle broke early on as I think we could have had a good fight between the two Mercs but lots going on behind and a very dramatic last lap. Hamilton will wrap up the title in Austin if he scores 2 points more than Rosberg and 9 more than Vettel.

Yep, and any other form of motorsport you like.

Raikkonen gets his inevitable penalty, that move on Bottas was just never on, it drops him from 5th to 8th and gives Mercedes the Constructors Championship. Alonso also gets a penalty for cutting turn 16 repeatedly, dropping him to 11th behind Verstappen.

^ I saw this race live today. I'm upset for Bottas.  Honestly he didn't see Raikkonen. Now you said Raikkonen drop to 8th. Is he get point for his team?
I am Vetel huge fan but I'm sure Hamilton win this season. And another BAD LUCK for Niko rosberg (Please pardon me if I write names with incorrect spell). Lewis is a lucky man!!
Verstappen have a great future. He is very brave.

Points go down to 10th so Raikkonen still scores about 4pts for today.

Yeah, the mechanical failures this year do seem to have cost Rosberg more than they have Hamilton but not enough to make much of a difference to the title race.

And Button finished 9th and got 2 points!  Highlight of my day.

Yeah, that was cool, though it did have more to do with everyone else falling off the track.

Yeah, I know.  That's really their only hope to score this year, sadly.

They seem to be fairly confident for Austin though, best bet there would be Alonso though since he'll have an upgraded engine. They can't produce enough parts quick enough for Jenson to get it until Mexico though.

Next race will be in Mexico and I like to see that so much. I don't think we can see Unexpected happening in Mexico. Hamilton (Lucky man) win this season easily. Team support him more than Rosberg and its shine like sun.
