Archonaut has been around since late 2013. Singer Jens Kipper and guitarist Sebastian Maschuw met at their former Band Stash Lando and were searching for new members throughout 2013. After some changes in the Lineup they found Chris Jordan (Drums), Julian Klotz (guitars) and Felice Puopolo (Bass). Since then the 5 guys are writing on material for their first LP Duchess, a concept album evolving around the story of a mystical entity in the deap sea.

With no boundaries of songwriting or lyrical motives they wont invent a new genre or revolutionize the music scene, but simply approach music from a different angle. First there is an idea. A story. Then comes the music. But one thing is always important. The Song. Call it metal, rock, prog or storytelling rock. The only thing that matters is the song. And and of course the story. http://archonaut-music.com/?page_id=227
