 Topic: 2 albums recorded at the same time and place

We all know that The Beatles & Pink Floyd were working on Sgt Pepper and Piper At The Gates Of Dawn at the same studios at the same time.
We also know that members of both bands looked in on the others' sessions at least once.
Similarly, Jethro Tull were recording Aqualung at the same time and the same studios as Led Zeppelin were starting on their fourth album.
Was there any crossover or contact between Tull & Led Zep?
Also, what other examples are there of two famous albums being recorded at the same time at the same place?

David Bowie's "Low" and Iggy Pop's "The Idiot" were not only being recorded at the same time in the same studio, they were practically part of the same project. Bowie was producing Iggy's album, and a lot of the studio time was spent on both albums simultaneously - any given musical idea could be used for either album. Both albums were heavily indebted to Bowie's "Berlin" period and have a similar sound to them.

Mike Oldfield was recording Tubular Bells at the same time that John Cale was in the studio, apparently that's who he got the Tubular Bells from when Cale had finished using them.

when Van Der Graaf Generator were in the studio recording The Least We Could Do Is Wave to Each Other, Celine Dion was next door recording her 12th album - Wings at the Speed of Light. Celine was asked to participate in most of the tracks on 'Wave' and according to Alexander Graham Bell - the Head Coach of the Miami Dolphins at the time, she was the main reason the album was even released. I think my back pain meds are finally working.

When Yes was in the studio making whatever Tales From Topographic Oceans was supposed to be, Sabbath were next door cutting Sabbath Bloody Sabbath.
Since Wakeman was being edged out of the TFTO sessions, he had time to add keys to "Sabbra Cadabra". He demanded payment in beer.
And Ozzy recalls all the hay and other pastoral stuff placed into Yes's studio to please Anderson, who had wanted to record in the countryside. This included a cow model with electronic udders and a small barn.

I believe that Sgt. Pepper's sessions also ran over Abbey Road sessions for the Zombies' Odyssey & Oracle album, that wasn't released until 1968. With the song Time of the Season hitting the charts in 1969.

When former Triumvirat guitarist the late Helmut Koellen was recording his posthumously released solo album "You Won't See Me" at "Conny's Studio", Wolperath, West Germany in the spring of 1977, Hellmut Hattler, bassist for the group Kraan was working on his debut solo album, as well, at the same studio. Hattler told me that he met Helmut Koellen a couple of times, just days before Koellen died. RIP Helmut Koellen.

The way I heard it, The Zombies were next to use the studio after The Beatles were finished with SP, and insisted on leaving everything set up as The Beatles had last used it. I wonder who was next to use the studio that Pink Floyd had used

I think I found one.
The Sex Pistols were recording the non-single tracks from Never Mind The Bollocks... while Queen was working on News Of The World.
