Sounds like you like the 'Canterbury sound'.....that also includes Egg , Soft Machine, and Caravan as well as Hatfield and Gilgamesh of course. All favorites of mine also.
I would also recommend Supersister, Amoeba Split, Gong,  Khan,    as well as early Steve Hillage solo works .
