Any 6 of these tracks from Ayreon from the Universal Migrator up through 01011001. I didn't include the Theory of Everything because the tracks on that album are even less stand-alone than these. Lots of short connected tracks.

Please only pick 6 max. If you select other, I'd love to hear what you'd choose.

This, without Trauma. Abbey of Synn is really underrated

Day Sixteen: Loser
Dig me...But don't...Bury me
I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive

I like all of these songs, but I'll vote for, My House on Mars, Carried by the Wind, Day Twelve: Trauma, Day Sixteen: Loser, Liquid Eternity and The Sixth Extinction.
When he rides, my fears subside.
For darkness turns once more to light.
Through the skies, his white horse flies.
To find a land beyond the night.

Progressive waves would have gotten my vote any time, though among these Isolation is my favorite. That didgeridoo/mandolin/sitar intro on Loser is pretty damn awesome though.
