Seeing as the last Febus thread has reached over 500 pages, I thought it was about time to commence a new oneBig smile

As always, I like to start out this thread with a Soft Machine album in honour of our friend Antoine, who sadly isn't with us anymore - at least not in person. As long as this thread goes on though, I'm fairly certain he's here in one way or the other.

It's a nice tradition Dave!

I'm finishing up Spock's Beard - Snow in a while, I'm up for playing some Soft Machine, I'll go with their amazing second album.

Uwe + Sagi: Yeah I think this thread is one of the nicest traditions we've got on PA. Just goes to show that the internet isn't all bull and selfpromotion.

A representative of one of my favourite pseudogenres, occult/Satanic-themed heavy metal before "black metal" really became a thing, that returned in the 21st century. Has both the requisite scruffiness of the NWoBHM but also a lot of polish and atmospheric flourishes that hearken back to 1970s prog.
