The third album by Italian band Formula 3 released in 1972. Slightly
more intense than La Grande Casa but still from the symphonic branch
of the RPI tree. Some long musical passages with nice interaction between
organ and guitar. Not many vocals but in Italian when they occur.

I'll see if I can get my hands on Crocodiles and Porcupine then. I don't like Ocean Rain that much though, perhaps because that orchestrated baroque pop aesthetic isn't really my thing and I think it kind of sounds awkward wedded to that style of goth/new-wave.

(at least Siouxsie and the Banshees somehow pulled it much more gracefully on A Kiss in the Dreamhouse, though)

Me, I'm still listening to some Noise.  Believe it or not, this is good music to work at my desk to, so long as I keep the volume down for fear of scaring my co-workers.

Yeah: 'Girlfriends', 'neighbours' or 'co-workers' and 'my music' is rarely a good match. The Graaf is at insanely loud volume but on the headphones right now.

[headbang]
One time at work (if you've heard this story before, stop me) I had my headphones on listening to "Universal Totem Orchestra" (a Zeuhl group) and asked that nobody bother me so I could really concentrate on a difficult project I was working on.  No one bothered me but I could tell they were milling around me, wondering whether to interrupt me or not.  I took off my headphones AND THE MUSIC WAS BLASTING THROUGH THE COMPUTER SPEAKERS TOO.  Embarrassed  oops

I can see the look on their faces. You weirdo!

Self titled debut album from Italian band IL Volo released in 1974.
Two guitars, two keyboards, bass and drums make up the group with
members coming from several well known Italian bands. A slight cut
below the second release (Essere O Non Essere?) I enjoyed it just as
much. The guitar work supported by keyboards makes a great sound.

One of the very rare RPI albums I don't like. Having another listen to see if my mind changes. So far, it's a no Disapprove
