Mmmmm tasty.

You agree?
Don't know what I think of it yet. I guess when I listen to avant-prog, I go in expecting intense emotions to interpret the dissonance, a la Univers Zero. This, on the other hand, is a lot cooler, more methodical, and sparse. I've not heard anything quite like it. I'm probably going to have to listen to it a few times to have an opinion.

^ King Nine - Blueneck

Post Rock meets Post-Britpop/late '90's sadsack alternative. And it works.

The second (and last) album by the original Jeff Beck Group. Released
in 1969 this was a very hard and heavy album with the Nicky Hopkins
mellow instrumental being the exception. Worth noting were the two
Elvis covers, All Shook Up and Jailhouse Rock.
One of my favorite Jeff Beck songs is the instrumental Rice Pudding
which closes the album.

KC - Heavy ConstruKction

Dig me...But don't...Bury me
I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive

Self titled Corrosion Of Conformity released in 2012. While this version
of the band has some great guitar, I still miss Pepper Keenan's vocals.

The latest release (2014) by US metal band Chevelle. I have many CDs
by this band and they sound as good now as they did the first time I
heard them.
