^^^ I don't have the first and any album after Relayer. I'm not counting on spending much on those two either LOL

The debut is the only one I really like as a whole album, it's bombastic from beginning to end Big smile I fell asleep the last time I listened to Trilogy, it bored me so much Ouch

Well now I insist on finding out what you think about the `controversial' `Tormato', Sam! Never heard that, `Going for the One' or `Drama'? They are definitely worth getting!

I agree 100% about the first album, the only one without the silly tracks. `Trilogy' is decent, but I don't find it wholly engaging either.

Sorry, Moogtron, I know I'm in the minority not really digging it as much as many others. I've kept at the album for years, and it just hasn't happened. I'm happy to let the won-over others (which would include you!) sings its praises!

Congrats on the Collab promotion too, by the way!

Thank you! Big smile
And you don't have to be sorry, we all have minority tastes.
For instance: I myself am not as enthusiastic about Trilogy as many others.

^^ I heard all those at least once: although I don't remember much about them, I don't think those are bad albums.
I hate the silly tracks Dead

^ Congrats Marcel! So you are no longer VIP? Tongue

^ same here man...  I thought Triology was their best album

thus... my least favorite of the 'mandatory' prog fan albums  (ie pre Love Beach haha)

this is prog... if you aren't shooting for the stars.. .then you aren't destined to fall flat on occasion.

Not a band created for consistency...  wild swings between brilliance and head scratching..

first up...  continuing where I started last night..  is there a band that summed up the 70's like this band?

Nope...

Great album (they all were) and a top 15 alltime favorite song here.. and perhaps the most intoxicating voice ever? ... yep.

Thumbs Up  I had heard the name a few times but never got around to listening until recently on YouTube.
I ordered this one and The Gathering Dark and should have them in a few days.

you are kidding right.. she was #2 of my famous string of 4 redheads in a row.

#1 was a hoot.. loved sex.. so much.. I found out I wasn't enough for her LOLAngry
#2.  oh definitely a hoot .. except she was even more a an alchohol than I was.. so I did run..

right into the arms of #3.  Great woman...  only problem.  She was 19 years older than me.. with 3 kids nearly as old as me. Fun times.. but ended when she said.. we need to talk about the future LOL

so of course I ran to redhead #4.. and married her.. only to find she was in fact the spawn of Satan and destroyed my life.

so yeah... redheads? run man.. RUN!!! LOL

It looks a little brown in this picture but trust me, it's red. The darker kind.
