^^ What do you think?
To me, it was a bit laid back compared to some of the others but it was just as good.

I listened to that album yesterday, very nice traditional sympho-prog.

At the moment I'm listening to the relaxing post-rock album "Age of the fifth Sun" by God Is an Astronaut.

Oh dear, I made a newbie mistake by quoting a post from the first page of a thread with more than 400 pages. But "Il paese ..." is still a good album.

It's amazing how ahead of their time this band was and still is. Few other metal groups nail that entire dystopian "technologically advanced civilization in decay" aesthetic as well.

Their comeback album, which I can confirm is easily on height with their classic output. Doesn't sound dated at all, as a matter of fact I find Godflesh are an unsung influence on the modern sludge metal scene. I think they invented the "soundscape" way of approaching that kind of music, but with a dystopian viciousness few match.
