Anyone here knows Bootsy Collins's discography? Which LPs would you recommend to a prog fan?

Thanks.

I'd recommend his work with Bill Laswell's Material, which is featured on PA.

This one, in particular, is a bonafide modern masterpiece:
Ethereal fusion meets electronic meets India (with a small cameo from Bill Burroughs).

He's on JMA? The first two are the most 'proggy'. As far as Laswell projects go, check out Booty's work with Praxis, who are pretty proggy themselves.

Pretty much anything Bootsy has done has proggy ingredients, from a funk/rock perspective. All his work with Parliament/Funkadelic is excellent as well as his solo material, Bootsy-Player of the Year is great album, the height of his popularity as a solo artist.
To fully appreciate Bootsy you almost need to go back to the 60's and his days with James Brown and follow the evolution into Bootsy.

Zillatron: Lord of the Harvest is my favoritest.

Thanks everyone for the replies.

I have listened to the first couple of LPs by Bootsy and they do not sound progressive (at least to me). Zillatron is more of what I am looking for, even though I am not always in the kind of mood that matches this music.

I am rather curious about Material, but they are not in Spotify, I'll have to wait a while longer to listen that.

Cheers.
