PF by a mile. Nothing against Snow Goose, but WYWH is a Desert Island Disk for me.

The Snow Goose is the most perfect album ever recorded. I can listen to it over and over again and it never gets stale. The playing, composition and emotion are unrivalled. No other piece of music has ever told a story without words, using musical motifs instead, except Peter and the Wolf, which is simplistic by comparison.

I don't really rate WYWH as being amongst Floyd's best albums and it isn't in the same league as the Snow Goose.

Actually better than I remember it - not bad at all.  Just doesn't grab me in the way it obviously does to Herc.

I guess I can describe it as a nice, pleasant album.

yeah..  pretty much sums up my thoughts.

I think Raff puts it on occasionally.. I wouldn't know.. if it isn't Mirage.. which actually has some bite and some balls... it all sounds the same to me. Sleepy  Not as bad as Genesis of course.. but still...LOL

I wonder what the odds will be that ELP and Camel will face each other in the upcoming battle of the albums contest.  A 3rd time WILL be a charm damnit... Angry

Read Gallico's novella.

Once you've done that, it all makes sense.

There were no other albums released in 1975 that I know of besides WYWH. Wink

True, nice little story, you can read it about half an hour.

As for the poll:
Shine On You Crazy Diamond > all of Snow Goose > rest of WYWH
Really hard, wouldn't know for which one to vote.
