We all know that prog often is accompanied by great cover art that fits the mood and atmosphere of the record. But what happens when the music is actually fine but the art just looks ridicolous and tasteless? Feel free to post examples of this. (I'd actually welcome to hear albums I've totally dismissed because of the cover art).

My example: Black Sabbath - Paranoid

I don't know if I'd call it terrible exactly, but The Division Bell's cover art it's definitely too creepy for the beautiful music Pink Floyd made. Still, the back cover was even worse:

The Paranoid cover is quite stupid, but I think Yes' Going for the One is the worst of any super groups (you have Roger Dean do all your covers, and the one you don't has some guy's ass on it? Bzzuh?). That, or maybe Love Beach.

How fares the stuff on Love Beach btw? That's one particular record I steered away from because of the rather mega-cheesy cover art.

I was shocked by the music here, amazing material to say the least, one of the better albums of the 90's IMO...but the cover...ohh gosh...

The cover mirrors the music. I thought the album was as mediocre as the polyester shirts ELP were wearing.

Jimmie Spheeris – “Ports of the Heart.”  From the same gifted artist whose first album “Isle of View” had one of the best fantasy-art covers ever came this atrocity which totally destroyed the almost mystic aura surrounding him.  What was he thinking?

King Crimson's cover art went down hill after the first four albums.
Larks' Tongues is barely passable and from Starless on their covers are extremely plain.
They're not terrible (OP) but plain. They're design rather than artwork.
