Not to be confused with the 'Lonely Robot' acoustic folk/emo project of James Stewart, based in Derby, UK - which you might come across on bandcamp: http://lonelyrobot.bandcamp.com/.

Yeah - this is a fine album by a multi-talented musician whom I have an enormous amount of respect for. I actually started a thread for John Mitchell's 'Lonely Robot' project about six weeks ago, in the 'Get the Word Out forum' here. Needless to say it attracted little attention in that remote backwater of the PA website!!

The grooveshark site has currently got only a very curtailed version of the title cut (track five), but the rest of the tracks stream fine there...And yes - the project belongs on the site for sure. I'm not sure that there is quite enough complexity here to satisfy the Neo Prog boys, but this will be an easy add in Crossover if it doesn't quite manage to fly in Neo. Thumbs Up

Cleared about two weeks ago in Crossover, and John Mitchell has confirmed that Lonely Robot will play a London show in December: http://prog.teamrock.com/news/2015-03-18/lonely-robot-announce-london-show.

The project - led by It Bites producer, guitarist and vocalist Mitchell - will play at London's Scala on December 20, after a performance at Cultuurpodium Boerderij in Zoetermeer, Netherlands, on December 4.
