Topic: Obscure prog epics Part 1 Posted: March 23 2015 at 11:22 |
Here's an opportunity to get to know a few obscure bands through their epics...What I mean about obscure is bands who don't get enough mention but have maid beautiful and exciting music just as any big name you know. I'm sure you'll know some bands or even most of them if you've had the chance to explore prog rock deeper. So I've collected about 45 epics, 3 in every poll. I consider epic to be 15 minutes +.
Enjoy and don't forget to comment!

Interesting thread and poll...went with Ram...... though I like Cornucopia and actually have that on cd. Didn't care that much for Catherine but it wasn't bad per se.

I actually thought of giving up on these polls since there wasn't any interest, I know it can be hard listening to three epics.
Anyway I'm pleased to see you've enjoyed them, I'm still haven't decided between Ram and Cornucopia

I noticed this poll but didn't have time to listen to everything till now. I only knew Cornucopia and that's what I voted for.

Exactly my thoughts as I haven't had time until now and I also only knew the Cornucopia which is what I voted for. Loved all the tracks though, they were all pretty amazing.

I went eenie meenie miny moe I adore all of these, big time! Just so happens that when people make polls about the obscure stuff, I tend to feel right at home. I've actually reviewed every album from this one. Oh and moe got to be Catherine Ribeiro The beautiful (and somewhat disturbing) Edith Piaf witch from the woods.

Now that's a close fight! I'm glad to see every band gets their fair share of appreciation because they certainly deserve it. I'm gonna break that tie and vote for Ram.
