Thanks

it was filed with the live dvds, so i thought it was a live bad seeds dvd woo

in reality it's just the delux-o edition of a studio album, but still totes worth it woo

Kual stuff.

Kinds of people you meet at shows in my town:
Type 1: "We're the guys in the other band. You guys did a great job by the way. *walks off to have a smoke*"
Type 2: "You guys sound kinda like a mix between Green Day and Blink-182. Those are the only two artists I know."
Type 3: "Y'all remind me of that group all the kids are listening to these days. What's their name? The Mumford Sons or something?"
Type 4: "Hey, I'm a shady character you barely know. Wanna join my band? Rehearsal is tomorrow at 8."
Type 5: "Hey, you know my band needs a bass/guitar player. *looks around awkwardly*"
Type 6: *drunk, high, and grinding*
Type 7: Engineering/Art/English students who listen to Sunn O)))
Type 8: Entertainment Industry students who are Tequila connisseurs. "Just a pinch of lime man."
Type 9: "Man, Santana has the best tone. He just– REEAWAWAEARAERAR– and –REARFHSDARYASDYR– no pedals, just his custom Paul Reed Smith straight through a '74 Twin Reverb turned backwards with duct tape on the speakers all hanging from the ceiling on a trapeze. Tone for days. Magical."

playing shows here would mean 10% uninformed but interested listening and 90% drinking beer and trying to talk about life all through the music
it's really amazing what kind of a young musical place you must live

I should say this is the crowd a particular venue where we usually play . People are there to hear the music, even if they're drunk and they don't care what the music is. Another place we play is more like how you describe.
