I love both albums but slightly more Trespass. And consenquently an initial vote goes to that great Genesis' masterpiece of English Symphonic rock.
Please vote.

Trespass, although none of its tracks keeps par with Man-erg.

VDGG, by light years.

Trespass is a wonderful album, and holds an important position in Genesis (and hence Progressive Rock) history. But Pawn Hearts was a monumental, more uncompromising achievement, sounding just as weird and difficult today as it did over 40 years ago...

If they offer a release that strips Hammill's voice from the recording, I would say VdGG; unfortunately, that is not the case, so Trespass.

Pawn Hearts is much more powerful and devastatingly emotional, but obviously I'll have to go for Trespass. It just suits my taste perfectly. Also, I was surprised how intricate and well-written Trespass was, but really the opposite for Pawn Hearts. There are so few interesting chord progressions, but they manage to pull it off. Anyway, love em both but Genesis + Anthony Phillips > all other music Smile

Perfection of total chaos vs. a mostly peaceful, pastoral record that has some gaps in it, as much as I love the pastoral peace on Trespass. Voted for the former.

I don't want to be one wave in the wat-te-e-e-er!!!

Trespass absolutely. One the "Progressive Rock Roots" albums IMO.

My view except that they'd have to strip the sax out as well.
