I'm surprised to see this thread wasn't already existing.

And the Reds win another one.

Joey Votto is on a tear. It looks like he's back to remind everyone of what he can do, and that is a sight for sore eyes.

The thread wasn't started because I've not been around very much lately...
...and the Tigers are off to a roaring 5 and 0 start. Clap

I was wondering where all the baseball fans had gone to. LOL

My expectations for the Reds this year are damped a bit, but it's nice to see them come out of the gate firing. Hopefully they can ride this train for a while.

Cubs are in 1st place now there are two words you hardly ever see together. Lester needs to earn that 155 million soon. Giving up six runs is not what you want from your ace.

So far I am liking Alfredo Simon quite nicely.

And Shane Green. I am still wondering about the Yankee's reasoning in trading him for a Mendoza line hitter.

I'll be interested to see how the seadon pans out for him. Last year seemed like he overacheived a lot, but perhaps I am wrong, and he always had the potential to be a great starter.

As for Travis Wood, I was sad the day we traded him away, and every time he skunks us is just a reminder of that deal.

I had wondered why Kirk Gibson had only announced the opening day Tiger game (he was supposed to be a regular on Tiger broadcasts). It turns out Kirk has contracted Parkinson's disease.

My thoughts are with him and his family.

That's a fabulous pic Scott.

Have you still got season tickets?  The Tigers going pretty well so far.

Over this side of the pond we're getting an average of 1-2 games a night (though mostly too late to watch live) which is great for us Brits who like baseball.

One game I did catch last week was the Yankees-Mets subway game.  And to my delight it ended in an 8-2 win for the Mets.  Sorry Yankees fans.  That Harvey guy looks a great pitcher.
