Hammill, The Undercover Man has the most beautiful lyrics, but i'd like to point out that Images & Words features two of the best lyrics i've ever heard in prog: Metropolis Pt. 1 and Learning to Live. I dont know why the quality of their lyrics drecreased so much in latter albums.

To be honest I don't like to be preached upon, or supposed intellectual sermons nor do I enjoy corny lyrics, thus overall I much prefer to listen i.e. "why does it hurt when I pee" Big smile that makes me smile and is fun.

Hi,

Interesting to see Frank Zappa listed as a lyricist.  I actually like it, despite some pieces here and there that ... many of us don't like or bad taste gets in the way! But as a satirist, he is probably one of the best.

Music is not just for listening ... it is for LIVING ... you got to feel it to know what's it about! Not being told!

eh, I'm an idiot and voted without fully reading.

Lyricist should have been Zappa, absolutely brilliant.

-------someone please tell him to delete this line, he looks like a noob-------

I don't have an unnatural obsession with Disney Princesses, I have a fourteen year old daughter and coping mechanisms.

Fish.

When he rides, my fears subside.
For darkness turns once more to light.
Through the skies, his white horse flies.
To find a land beyond the night.
