Around 40 years have passed since these great albums were released. Which is still your favourite?

No-one will be surprised I chose The Snow Goose.
It was written almost as a piece of classical music and it will stay fresh forever.

Camel - certainly, not a bad choice. But, by my tastes, went with Crimson...

Actually they are, King crimson is experimental, and Henry cow is an avant-garde band. I actually mean, that being not afraid of trying new things, King Crimson have always been able of writing melodical and even emotionally-resonant songs, while u can't identify with Henry Cow music until u r subjectively predisposed. I don't mean avant-garde is bad, Can is great for instance

I do concur with the broad sweep of your comments, the irony is that the song form you describe ultimately split the Cow and found expression with Art Bears.

Another vote for the Camel. The camel beast the cow, so it seems
EDIT: no pun intended with the word "beast" (I meant "beats") but it's there after all.

The Snow Goose has been a long time favourite. Yet I voted for In Praise of Learning because I discovered this one almost 40 years after its release.
