1) Nektar - A Tab in the ocean (great track from a great album) 2) Hammill - Flight (love it but actually prefer the shorter songs from A Black Box - another great album) 3) Tie between Hillage and Caravan

Yet being rather a newby here (only know Hillage and Osanna), apart from the poll options my fave is the more frenzy Oro Caldo over Animale Senza Respiro, I don't know for sure yet why, honestly I have to admit Palepoli deserves a bit more spins, it's a heluva a capolavoro.

I could've gone for a number of different choices here, but seeing SBBs Odejscie without any votes made it easy...........then I remembered that you, most likely, are referring to the cut off Slovenian Girls, which isn't the one I was voting for The one, and only, Odejscie for me, is the original 30 minute version included as a bonus track on the cd release of Ze Slowem Biegne Do Ciebie. I sadly can't find it anywhere on ze net for streaming purposes.

I've thrown a vote in for Hillage's Solar Musick Suite, lurking at the bottom there. I actually prefer the Lunar Musick Suite though.

I'm glad you felt that way Sagi - I was thinking the exact same thing when I, yesterday on a break from an outdoor trek with my study mates, stumbled over this thread. That way I was free to vote for the SBB tune, which I kinda fecked up anyway seeing as I almost certainly voted for the wrong version

The version for Odejscie that I have is from Wolanie o brzek szkla (damn this polish) 20 minutes long. I like it of course but it's not my favourite from this great band.

I really love Lunar Musick Suite as well, and I think it's every bit as wonderful as the Solar suite, yet the one thing that lets it down (at least for my tastes) is it's production. Too cold for my tastes. Completely opposite to the one found on Fish Rising, where you get the feel of an album cut live in the studio without too much "processing" going down. In any case you gotta love Steve's playing on that thing

Ah no my friend, I never managed to get that one. The ones I have are Pamiec, Wolanie o brzek szkla and Memento...from 1980, the later being my favourite.
Oh and Karlstad of course
