Wanted to say Relayer but have a huge, weighty respect for Moonmadness. A best effort from the original line-up.

Rainbow Rising holds a special place in my heart. Can't beat that 1-2 punch of 'Stargazer' and 'A Light in the Black.'

Black Sabbath's Heaven and Hell is one of my Top 10 all-time favourite albums, so it should not come as a surprise if my vote goes to it. Anyway, BSS, Relayer, Rising, Heavy Horses and Live at Carnegie Hall are right behind it.

I was just jamming to Mob Rules in the car.....a pretty decent follow up.  Seems to grow on me more all the time.

I could pick from Hemispheres, Heaven And Hell or Moonmadness, three incredible records that stand above the rest for me. Okay Relayer is right there for fourth but then there's a huge drop off.

ELP's album is far ahead of anything else listed here.

About half of those are essential albums for me ..the other half not so much, but today I chose
Moonmadness. I never tire of hearing that one.
