In my final poll for albums released in 1972, we will deal with the wonderful world of soul, funk and R&B, which was represented by many landmark records that year.

My favorite that year is War, followed by Stevie Wonder and the Temps.

Good choices, but I have to go with The World is a Ghetto.  I still play that one from time to time.  To me, it has a little bit of a proggy feel to it in places.

All of these are fantastic pcs of soul/funk/R&B........Could pick any but I went with The Isley Bros. Their melodies are some of the best cohesive singing in R&B, smooth. Very under rated group IMO
