Naeco II  from new album Buru Haze by Kanoi (already in PA) is a really great bluesy psychedelia a la Pink Floyd. http://kanoi.bandcamp.com/track/naeco-ii-3

Frank Marino / Mahogany Rush had several prog tunes in their discography (hard blues / psych / jazz / mellotron / synth etc). Here are my favourites:

1) IV ... (Emperor) from the 1976 album "IV"

2) Strange Universe from the same titled album (1975)

3) Tales of the Unexpected from the same titled album (1979)

Off the list its really hard for me to choose between the Groundhogs, Robin Trower and Rory Gallagher.. but I really love Rory, saw him live and met him on two occasions and everything i'd been told about him was true, he was a lovely guy, really friendly and warm hearted. Died much too young and sorely missed so he gets my vote.
