Grateful Dead - Space.....can choose from literally thousands of versions from their near nightly excursions from the mid-late 60s right up to the early 90s.  Was there ever a more progressive rock band?
I like to feel the suspense when you're certain you know I am there.....

^When I want something from the Dead that really jellos my bones in that oh so chill manner, I put on Dark Star from one of Dick's Picks (quite a few versions to chose from too).

Another one that hasn't been mentioned yet is the wonderful Edge of Time album from Dom. These Germanic creatures managed to cook up the perfect soundtrack for watching bees buzz about and generally having a great old time melting through your garden chair.
I mean, any album that starts like this and you just know you're in for a real chill excursion (albeit a little hazy at that)

Wonderful album - heck I even love the completely bonkers bonus track Flotenmenschen. -A track that obviously owes a great deal to acid.

I mostly think of it as a "summer album" though, but that's probably because I've spent so much time with it out in my folks' garden. Always in a very relaxed state of mind - most likely sunbathing or indeed watching bumblebees bouncing around.
Anyway who knows? Maybe it'll turn out to be a "winter album" for youTongue

Lucky son of a gun! I'm freezing my ass off here in the Northern part of JutlandLOL

Oh and I've been meaning to ask you but keep forgetting about it. Can your record player convert albums into MP3s? Mine doesn't but a good friend helped me out a little while back, so as I now can listen to (most of) my vinyl whilst away from homeBig smile

Yikes! Confused I live close to the sea, so I never saw snow here. It makes me laugh when people here complain about the cold LOL

No, but I have plenty of CD's and download codes from LP's, so I never needed it. I'm thinking about recording some cassettes though Tongue
