Halleluhwah (Can)
Natural Science (Rush)
Killer Queen (Queen)
Achilles' Last Stand (Zep)
Fairies Wear Boots (Sabbath)
Space Truckin' (Purple)
Esther's Nose Job (Soft Machine)
Stay (Bowie)
Houses in Motion (Talking Heads)
As Cold As Can Be In An English Sea (Cardiacs)

Many of these aren't exactly obscure (or classics by many peoples' standards) and the songs themselves may change, but anymore this is a good list of artists to make up my top ten at least somewhat regularly.

So... this is really tough, and i believe that if you'd ask me tomorow, my list would be different, but anyway, let's try it...

10:Achilles last stand-Led Zeppelin (Zeppelin might not be prog, but that song is a  hell of a prog song)
9: Tarkus- ELP
8:South Hampton Blues- Iguana
7:The Necromancer- Rush
6:The Musical Box- Genesis
5:My god- Jethro Tull
4:21st century schizoid man- King Crimson ( I know, to classic, but it's too awesome..)
3:Echoes- Pink Floyd
2: The Face- Gentle Giant
1: Yours is no disgrace- Yes (But specifically the live version from Yessongs, 1973)
It took me 45 minutes to decide :P

Such a list changes daily for me, but I'll give it a go.

Amon Düül ll - Yeti (the track)
Franco Battiato - Sequenze e Frequenze
Bubu - El Corteje de un dia Amarillo

Clivage - Mixtus Orbis

Witthüser & Westrupp - Illusion
Area - Vodka Cola
Björn J:Son Lindh - Musik från en Storstad

Well, at least I've heard of Amon Düül ll....

LOL
Admittedly, I purposely sought out the more obscure selections of my collection. It just gets a little uninteresting seeing 50 lists with Echoes, Supper's Ready, Close To The Edge, Tarkus etc etc.....don't get me wrong, I adore those tunes and they could just as easily have been featured in my list.
Maybe I'll do a 'classic' prog rock list at one point (or merely copy one of those already posted), but I gather I'd rather do yet another completely under-the-radar offeringTongue

I understand your reasons for doing an obscure list. Most of these lists are fairly interchangeable I agree.

Ultimately bored by endless ecstasy!

The title actually is "Little Red Riding Hood Hit the Road". Poor Little Red Riding Hood, not only did he turn you from an innocent young girl into an outlaw and changed her colour from red to green, he even changed your gender!
