Next up.  Poll #20.  One vote, top 2 vote getters move on to 2nd round to face each other. Vote for the album people.. not the group. If you don't know the album, ask, google, youtube it. Lots of great music here man...

From England.. and the fertile mind and fingers of Dave Stewart we have..

EGG!!! Clap

From England... a classic and an album cover that terrified me as a child.. but I LOVED the album... we have

URIAH HEEPClapClap

another one from England.. there really must have been something in the water there ehh LOL

Gnidrolog

and finally.. from Poland ClapHeart. one of my favorite discoveries on the site. God this sounds so good with volume maxed!!! Thanks Bartek Clap

also one of the most beautiful album covers I've seen

SKALDOWIE!!!

Hmm. I've heard some Skaldowie but not sure which album(s). I'll check out the sample but can't see them taking my vote away from Egg.

Gnidrolog easily, even if Lady Lake is the better album.

I love Salisbury's title track too much to not vote for that album.

Listened to Skaldowie, I think I heard one of their other albums. It was enjoyable but Egg wins for me.

Right, this is an easy one.
It is not because Uriah Heep and Gnidrolog don't have any quality (they surely have)...
And Skaldowie has great drums and indeed a lovely early 1970's style cover...
But The Polite Force by Egg is one of my two most important musical discoveries of the last five years (the other being the Maxophone eponymous).

I love Polite Force, it's probably in my top 10 albums by any band anytime. It is a true prog delight, an absolutely wonderful mind blowing album!

Egg
