moving on to.. ummm.. Marillion. I don't ever recall giving this album a chance. I did like a Hogarth album.. just don't remember which one it was...

71 minutes? pfff.. these groups need to back to 40 minute albums.. self disciipline man....and people wonder why the classic stuff is better. They knew how, were forced to obviously, trim the fat and leave nothing but the tastiest ...

let me guess.. this has to be a .... egads.. yes... a concept albumminus
2 stars already... no concept album is worth 71 minutes of
exploration... haven't these groups learned from Dream Theater.. musically
not bad... definitely heard worse and I haven't started drooling on the
keyboard yet or fallen asleep... but I'd be lying if I've paid one
iota's worth of attention to what he is singing... another
textbook case of a nice album pretending to be. or skirting the edge of
prog.. but as progressive and thus . interesting.. as my big toe is. Finishing this song.. a long one of course..and moving along. I tried.. and failed yet again to grasp the attraction of this stuff... more power though to those that like it.

unless of course... my premise that they are attempting to DO something was wrong... being patient.. but attention span definitely beginning to wane and wander.. sort of thinking about Santana's Abraxas right now

Actually pretty good stuff.. but simply too much.. too long
Well at least I made it thorugh this poll. the only one I didn't know any of the albums. The ranking for this group
Pikapika Teart GY!BE Djam Karet Marillion

Damn, they were all good, even Marillion who I kind of like but not love.
OK, for me it was Pilapika Heart. Hopefully as the day wanes they can dredge up a couple more votes but if they don't then at least I tried and once again I've found something new to me and well worthwhile. Damn, 16 more polls to do and all I want is to kick back with PH. Oh well, duty calls.

Really liked the DK sample, but as I haven't heared the full album I can't vote for it.
I, too, really enjoyed Moonberry, Micky, but as it seems lost here my vote will have to go somewhere else, which leaves just Marillion and GY!BE.
Haven't had those albums in my collection for too long, but I've listened to them enough to say I really enjoy both, but GY!BE a whole lot more, so they get my vote. Needed a drink did you, Micky?

Great to see Djam Karet doing so well here, I thought Marillion would take second if not first. Oh and i've put about three album down that I need to get just from this bracket of polls.

That Godspeed album is a monolith. Really evocative, and definitely my favorite out of the 4.

^ people actually listened before voting perhaps? imagine how different the classic poll results would have been if people embraced that revolutionary notion prior to voting hahah

My findings:
I didn't like Djam Karet. Marillion: not too crazy about the Hogarth-era, but there is some good stuff on Brave (not the featured track in this poll) and I respect them. GYBE!: cool stuff. But the winner is: Siberia! Pika Pika Teart, real good music!
