Confusedcan't believe I was the first voting for Shootout... Ouch

It might not be as heavenly as Low Spark, but it's defintely more even, because it doesn't haveany clunkers like Light Up Or Leave Me Alone.

^ What ? You don't relate (or at least remember) to that sentiment - Light up or leave me alone.....?
Well, for me it was always "Leave me alone, I'm lighting up......'

Well the sentiment I can relate, but the songwriting (I never thought Capaldi nearly as good singer and songwriter as Winwood was)

Love Low Spark, but I gotta go with Mr. Fantasy, man. You got the cool jazzy rock songs, Dave Mason's goofy but fun psychedelic stuff, silly whimsy stuff and a strong ballad too. Such a great 60's vibe to it.

To this day I just can't dig John Barlycorn.

I didn't think that many people actually liked the eponymous. I enjoy it too.

For me it's 'On The Road'. All of the best and not a bad track.

When the Eagle Flies. For some reason it has been one of my dearest albums. Can't explain more, just terrific album! The Low Spark of High Heeled Boys and Shoot Out at the Fantasy Factory are both also 5 star albums. Fantastic albums they've made!

Never actually heard Eagle. I'm collecting all of traffic on vinyl so I'll get to it at some point.

agreed, a dynamite live album

Oddly enough the Pasadena 72 DVD is a bit of a sleep-inducer, though.

I have a Live performance on DVD from around the time of John Barleycorn (?) - I think it's Santa Monica. It is a very enjoyable watch.
