Ozric was a large part of the eighties British underground and are still very well known today. What is your favorite of their discography?

Jurassic Shift for me, perfect combination of heavy guitar, space-y atmosphere, and The Orb-like electronics.

Man that is a tough ask I love so many. I think I'll go with Spirals this time. Only heard Technicians of the Sacred a couple of times but liking it a lot.

This is really tough. I haven't heard the new Technicians..... (on it's way though) - but, for me, I would have to say Erpland. That, with a gun at my head.

Erpland Or Jurassic Shift.

I'll go the former.

To my mind, the Ozrics were one of the few genuinely progressive bands to emerge in the musical desert of the 80s.  Saw them on a makeshift stage at Stonehenge in 84 - happy memories!  As for choosing an album....

For me, Erpland is the album that all of the others try to be as good as but fail.

Erpland hands down, then possibly Waterfall Cities.
Their most recent one is a return to form imo. Best album since WC!.......although that's not saying a whole lot. The Ozrics have been on autopilot for a long time.

First vote for Strangeitude which sits right between the two albums getting the most votes so far.

I like them all but voted Erpland. Also have a soft spot for Curious Corn and Vitamin Enhanced box.

My favorite is actually probably Become the Other, I'm not disappointed with my vote of Jurassic Shift though.

What, no Pyramidion?  I don't really understand the neglect for Pyramidion; it's one of my favorite Ozric releases.  Is it because it's considered "merely" an EP because of its length?

I could pick any of the albums from the 89-94 period.
Pungent Effulgent needs a vote.

I like almost everything by them, though I think the early (cassette) albums were a bit weaker than what followed. Though I'm not sure which one is their "best" album, here I go for Technicians, because it's very powerful and hasn't got any votes yet.
