Pretty simple thread. But lets give everyone (including me) a chance to update a reasonable list for modern prog favorites.
Inspired by the Top 50 Prog Albums Thread that everyone had so many problems with in the first place, so go ahead and give your own list for it. I'll post mine later. Woooo

I thought I would have trouble finding 20; instead I had to limit it to 45 by separating out prog folk!
Every one that I posted is at least a 4 star album to me, and not all 4 star albums were included. I love prog at the cellular level; most of what I like would be on the softer melodic side, although I know everyone has different ideas on what that means.

I did a version without any same-band duplicates in it, and thought "Well that just isn't very accurate!" so I scrapped it and just went with my gut.
