I can't vote, but Fracture by quite a vast margin......and no it has nothing to do with it being more complex. If that was my main thang, I'd probably dig more of ELP's output. Nah it's to do with the suspense this song achieves - the way it slowly and eerily builds up this huge sonic structure and then comes crashing down in a beautiful cathartic swoop, where Bruford finally hits those toms of his. Sheer brilliance.

Starless by about a light year. it actually has harmony prior to the madness.

I'd say both are equally good, there are some tracks from those albums that I like more though.

"Fracture". It has several sections packed into 11 minutes, it rocks harder, and doesn't take a long time to build up.

Tough call, love both. Went with Starless as I find it more emotionally engaging.

Starless. It may be but a forestudy for UK's Carrying No Cross, but Fracture is called Crapture in my book; this one sounds like an irritating cacophony to my sensitive ears.

Starless because I'm partial to melody and structure as opposed to tedium and tension. I do like Fracture but I have to be in the mood for it.
