Personally when I see over a page or more of posts by the same person with a similar motif, I find I lose interest mainly because it seems the page has been taken over by one person and there doesn't seem to be the same amount of group interest.
However I do give credit to them for perseverance and tenacity in expressing a musical passion,
and after all, it's good clean fun.
Opinions?

Heh....stand in line ......I have already castigated Micky for this weeks ago......

ps: I wouldn't mind as much if the 'modern' bands poll weren't so full of 'crappy' bands I don't care for.

Yeah I dunno, I'd rather have Mick do that than some moron.   Voted No.

No offense but that sounds like a personal problem.

If i had free time and i want to catch up on Micky's polls, i'm going to go through the ones i've missed - not stare at my screen for 5 minutes while a timer passes.

Talk about losing interest? I think i'd leave the site.

This is a community forum, powered by posting. The forum is already slow as it is, don't want a massive list of posts in threads? Lower the date requirement in the top left.

I have no problem with either excessive or multiple posting. The more the merrier!

Same.  I'll get on a tear sometimes, do a lot of online research, and look to post the results as soon as I can.

Well, sometimes I think some people could be more efficient with their words, but we're all different and I'm absolutely against any restriction.
I did become good at scrolling through the years.

I don't find any issues with multiple posting. Most here put up with my shenanigans, so I can't talk. It's just keeping up with them all..........🐌..........

I don't care. I'm not forced in reading a whole thread and unless it causes technical issues to the site, being able to communicate and capture the attention is a skill that one can have or not. To leave the page you need just one click

No. As long as the person in question has something to say.
