^ More laid back, less in-your-face, than their first collaboration, Atlantis, with Fiske's guitar having found a more natural place alongside Storløkken's keys, it sounds to me. The whole album seems more thought through composition-wise than what I've heard from E9 before. There's also some really nice almost psychedelic passages on here not found on their other albums. I like it a lot, which is a first for first listens for me when it comes to this band. Still early days, but I think this might be their finest album to date. Can't wait to see these guys in concert next week.
That sounds awesome, I'll certainly give it a listen. Enjoy the concert
Thanks. Hopefully it will be bether than your ADII experience yesterday.

I don't listen to Jethro Tull's pre-Aqualung albums anywhere as often as I should.

just goes to show what seperates prog from pretty much everything else.. if at first it doesn't connect.. you try.. and try..
and try..
and years later.. chances are.. it will connect. The mystery to me had always been why this didn't connect earlier... it isn't like this is a f**king Genesis clone album. This music is right up my testerone filled, red blooded red meat, Winston and booze filled G-spot.

definitely... last listen began the thraw.. I felt myself being drawn into the music rather than repelled by it.
This listen... definitely enjoying.. that review I posted in the contest poll was quite a good one. It sort of was a guide of how to look at the album rather than just listening to it... to try to hear it.. what it is saying.
