Escenes - Gotic - Spain (1978)
So, what did you think of it?
It was a very good listen all the way through and I really liked the flute.
Escenes was very expensive on Amazon ($74.99) so I ordered Maqueta for &19.99.
Ha! I didn't even believe Maqueta existed. LOL Couldn't find it anywhere a while back, is what I remember anyway. And it's not on discogs either. According to Amazon it's a CDr, hmm...would love to hear your thoughts on it once you've had a couple of listens to it.

Sincerely questioning the release year it has here on PA as well. 1978? I bet that's the year it was recorded, but if it was a finished album that laid unreleased for several years, as reviews suggests, that release year can't be right. Didn't know they had CDr's back in '78. LOL I've seen 2009 mentioned as release year on a Spanish (?) blog once...hope there's something about that printed on the copy and that you will, if you can, shed some light on this when you've received it, so we can get that release year question straighten out. Smile

Oh, and about Escenes, yeah, 75 bucks would be out of my prize range as well. LOL There's more affordable copies out there though, here for example.

Real breezy rock album with a touch of psychedelic melancholy. Recommended to folks with more than three trees in their garden.
But I don't even have a garden. Cry

What do you think of this one, Nasir, and the rest of their output (if you're familiar with it)?

Haven't heard anything else from this band, but, although it's not exactly my prefered style of prog, I thought this album was pretty good. The first half or so was pretty interesting at least, the second half a bit less so, IMO. I've only given it a couple of spins so far though, that's got to be said.

CE?

Anyway, I'm starting today's listening session with this:

Greenslade - s/t (1973)
My first listen to this band. This isn't exactly my prefered style of prog either, but it's not bad this, not bad at all. Thumbs Up

Up next, another first listen:

Kansas - s/t (1974)
Kansas Kansas album cover
