like your tastes man. Discipline, DP, Talk Talk. You are bringing it with authority dude. Clap

np here. Not sure why I picked it, probably reliving past days of glory. Bedlam does that for me every year. I've amassed more war stories of mayhem, fist fights, burned vehicles, public nudity, and bagged birds than any of you likely have on a single day a year. LOL

Just got back from a TDY tailgate meal of local craft brews and a awesome Pasticio at a Greek Restaurant. Getting revved up for the big game and opening the 5th of the day!

I can't believe I haven't taken an active interest in Ash Borer earlier. They're basically everything I desire from a black metal group at this point: Long and complex song structures, often rather spaced out and almost psychedelic in tone, that seamlessly shift gears between several different riffing styles in elaborate tension-and-release schemes while still being incredibly heavy and intense. I also quite like their rather austere and sombre aesthetic that avoid a lot of clichés associated with the genre, for bonus points their lyrics also appear to have vaguely Gnostic undertones?
